The Infrastructure Solution Architect is responsible for designing, during the pre-sales phase, the technological infrastructure of the solution, management tools, and services that will make the implementation, security, monitorability, and resilience of the solution possible.
The solution design typically includes the following elements:
* Architectural components of the target environment infrastructure supporting the application architecture: network components, network devices, server infrastructure (physical and virtual systems and operating systems) and/or services (IaaS / PaaS), storage and backup infrastructure, platform for WEB, Application, DB, and/or Container layers (where applicable).
* Tools and services related to the target environment infrastructure: setup services for architectural components, integration services with other client applications, resilience services (backup and restore, business continuity, disaster recovery), cybersecurity services, monitoring and reporting, governance services.
As a result of this complex work, the Infrastructure Solution Architect is responsible for producing a technical document and a cost estimate, which complete the offer presented to the client and comprehensively describe the IT infrastructure solution from a technical and service perspective.
The Infrastructure Solution Architect directly interacts with various company functions involved in the implementation cycle, providing support to all involved functions:
Constant contact with the Solution Architect function, from which they receive guidelines for solution design. Active collaboration with the Solution Release Management team to define the solution architecture and continuously improve non-functional characteristics such as installability, security, monitorability, and resilience of the proposed solution. During the detailed project phase, they interface with the Infrastructure Manager to provide input for the overall project realization (infrastructure components and integration).
Requirements
* Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
* Experience with emerging technologies to design and support solution implementation (cloud infrastructures, microservices platforms, Kubernetes orchestrators, etc.).
* Deep technical knowledge of architectures on major Cloud Service Providers (AWS and Azure).
* Deep technical knowledge of virtualization architectures in private and hybrid cloud environments.
* Extensive knowledge of various operating systems (Linux and Windows) and databases (Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MariaDB).
* Deep understanding of methods for managing complex architectural solutions.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong organizational, leadership, and relational abilities.
* Technical certifications are a plus.
* Hybrid working mode.
* Periodic travel based on client project needs.
