We are looking for a Production Specialist to join our Operations EMEA team on a 1-year fixed-term contract, based at our Villastellone plant.
In this role, you will support the Production & Operational Excellence Manager Villastellone in driving competitiveness, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the plant. You will contribute to key initiatives aimed at enhancing processes, ensuring a safe working environment, and improving overall production performance.
Main Responsibilities:
* Data analysis & production improvement: Provide accurate data analyses to support production programs and improvement initiatives. Collaborate with WCM to enhance process and product performance and quality.
* Support production staff management: Assist in evaluating feasibility and balancing activities within the department, including workload planning, constraint management, absenteeism monitoring, and efficiency assessment.
* Implement improvement actions: Contribute to the evolution of production organization, developing supervisors and personnel, and supporting technological enhancements.
* Coordinate TPM & engineering activities: Support the implementation of preventive and routine maintenance plans, promote first-level (self) maintenance, and ensure proper use of production equipment and machinery.
* Safety initiatives: Ensure all production activities comply with safety regulations and corporate requirements, fostering a safe working environment for all employees.
Preferred Background
* Academic background in a technical or engineering field.
* It is considered a plus to have completed even short internships or brief experiences in a plant environment (production, operations, industrial engineering).
Technical & Soft Skills
* Very good command of the English language.
* Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and support continuous improvement activities.
* Interest in production processes, performance monitoring, and optimization.
* Curiosity towards TPM principles and maintenance processes.
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
* Proactive attitude, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
* Commitment to safety and willingness to work in compliance with established regulations.
