Job Description:
Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Clinical Consultant Surgical to join our Abiomed Team in Southern Italy.

Our Cardiovascular team develops solutions for heart recovery, electrophysiology, and stroke, aiming to elevate standards of care for stroke, heart failure, and atrial fibrillation (AFib) patients.

Responsibilities:
* Support patients by improving outcomes through education, clinical best practices, and medical staff interaction, focusing on OR and ICU. Visit key institutions with Impella Pump portfolio to gather clinical data.
* Proctor/support surgical cases in new accounts and complex cases at experienced sites.
* Conduct After Action Reviews (AAR) with MDs post-case and communicate results.
* Manage surgical account training, ongoing education at European surgical sites, and coordinate activities with relevant teams to ensure optimal clinical outcomes. Establish peer-to-peer networks and educational programs.
* Support the goal to establish Heart Recovery as the new standard of care through product training and clinical outcome optimization.
* Represent the company at surgical conferences across the EMEA region.
* Travel up to 80% within the territory is required.
Qualifications:
Educational Skills: Clinical or technical degree
Working Experience:
* At least 5 years of direct patient support experience in OR with cardiac surgery or surgical medical devices related to Heart Failure and MCS (Perfusionist, ICU Nurse, OR Nurse)
* Over 3 years of commercial experience with cardiovascular products and technologies, especially Mechanical Circulatory Support
* Strong knowledge of cardiac surgery, perfusion medicine, mechanical circulatory support, ICU, and structural heart
* Fluent in English and Italian
* Valid driving license
