As a Senior OpenStack Engineer, you will lead the design, deployment, and optimization of advanced private cloud infrastructures supporting high-performance and AI-driven workloads. You will act as a senior technical reference for cloud networking, OpenStack environments, and containerized infrastructures, contributing to scalable and highly available platforms deployed both on bare metal and virtualized environments.
You will join an R&D-oriented; infrastructure team focused on technology scouting, infrastructure automation, deployment solutions, and operational analytics, working closely with engineering and operations teams to integrate cutting-edge hardware and software technologies into enterprise-grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and optimize complex OpenStack environments with a focus on advanced networking technologies (Neutron, OVN/OVS, SR-IOV, DPDK).
- Lead the deployment and troubleshooting of highly scalable cloud infrastructures and distributed environments.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on infrastructure solution design, technical assessments, and implementation strategies.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible for automated infrastructure lifecycle management.
- Support cross-functional teams by providing technical guidance, documentation, mentoring, and escalation support on complex infrastructure projects.
- Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies related to cloud, networking, and distributed systems.
Qualifications & Background
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, Network Engineering, or related STEM disciplines.
