Your role
We seek a Tax Reporting Specialist to join the EssilorLuxottica Group Corporate Tax department. Your responsibilities will include:
* Reviewing all tax-related aspects of the Group's consolidated financial statements and analyzing the tax impacts on the accounts.
* Supporting and coordinating County-by-Country and Pillar II reporting.
* Collaborating closely with the Corporate Consolidation team and regional/local tax and finance representatives.
Success in this role depends on your ability to engage with senior stakeholders within the finance and tax teams on tax reporting and compliance matters.
Main responsibilities:
* Tax rate reporting: Review, monitor, forecast, and control the group's effective tax rate.
* Uncertain Tax positions: Match balances with financial statements, manage accruals, releases, settlements, and forecasts in collaboration with regional tax managers.
* Corporate Income Tax Cash flow: Monitor and forecast.
* CBCR: Prepare and file reports jointly with the consolidation team and regional finance, including automation efforts.
* Pillar II: Review Safe Harbor calculations, perform detailed calculations, automate processes, coordinate with advisors, monitor legal changes, and liaise with auditors, in collaboration with relevant teams.
* Tax fees: Monitor and report to the Head of Tax.
* Legal entity rationalization: Support and monitor related projects.
* Regulatory monitoring: Ensure compliance with tax regulations affecting the Group’s accounts.
Main requirements:
* University Degree in Economics or related field.
* 5-10 years of experience in finance, with a focus on tax.
* Deep understanding of tax-related IAS/IFRS standards.
* Proficiency with MS Office; SAP experience is a plus.
* Strong accounting background.
* Excellent problem-solving, networking skills, flexibility, and ability to work in dynamic environments.
* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with high quality.
