Job Description
The Country Leader - Italy is a senior leadership position which carries solid and dotted-line accountability for every department within the country, collectively responsible for executing the Growth+ strategy and delivering key metrics in financial performance, health & safety (HSE), and employee engagement.
Reporting to the Managing Director – Water & Power sector / EMEA is responsible for leading the full country leadership team to drive overall performance across all functions. As Country Leader you will be responsible for fostering cross-functional collaboration across all end markets and departments (e.g. Engineering, Finance, Site Services), ensuring alignment and accountability for country-wide outcomes and will directly lead the country's sales support functions, including Customer Support and Application Engineering.
This role would suit a determined leader who drives our Grow+strategy, profitability and sustainability. Represent the company to government bodies, partners and key external stakeholders. Lead, mentor and develop cross-functional teams to expand a high-performance culture. Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for innovation and expansion.
In collaboration with Finance, prepare consolidated budgets and growth plans for the country, including the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Quarterly Forecasts (QPR), reports responsibilities on country performance, sales plans, and KPIs in partnership with sales teams.
Qualifications
Experience Requirements:
* Proven minimum 5 years' experience with a successful track record of leading others
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering
* Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written)
* Broad management experience across sales, manufacturing, and financial management
* Fulfil wider reporting responsibilities, including performance and sales plans, forecasting and other KPIs as needed with support of sales teams
The Successful Candidate:
* Work effectively through a matrix structure to build growth and strong, productive internal relationships that create benefit for multiple functions. Acting as the communication channel between all functions in the country.
* Be responsible for new product introduction, local marketing campaigns and event management in country in collaboration with End Markets teams in country.
* Customer ownership through the wider team to drive excellent customer relationships.
* Manage resource allocation to ensure resources are effectively deployed to support end markets inputs based on Rotork and customer priorities.
