Our client, a leading global provider of marine transportation, is looking for a Senior Accountant.He/She will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and finance function within the Accounting Team and hierarchically report to the Accounts Receivables Manager.Main responsibilitiesUpdate client information.Manage timely collation of billing information - on-hire and off-hire timings and bunker consumption and maintenance days.Issue sales invoices, debit notes and credit notes.Accrue for unbilled revenue, unearned revenue and Withholding Tax.Analyze the revenue variances between Actual vs Forecast.Liaise with clients and resolve billing queries and disputes.Generate customers’ statements of accounts and prepare weekly dispute lists with clients.Follow up with clients on late payments.Any other duties as instructed by management.Knowledge, skills and AbilitiesThe ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent, with at least three years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
