PpRQT is recruiting on behalf of a well established group within the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events industry. /ph3About the Role /h3pThis is a senior leadership role and is strictly suited to candidates with substantial and proven experience within the MICE sector, gained either within a reputable agency environment or within a structured hospitality group operating in meetings and events. The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and CEO and will be responsible for driving revenue growth, leading the Italy based team, and ensuring operational excellence in line with Group strategy and financial targets. /ph3Responsibilities /h3pbStrategic Leadership and Business Development /b /pulliDevelop and implement the annual business plan, sales strategy, and budget for the Italy office. /liliDrive sustainable revenue growth and profitability in line with Group objectives. /liliIdentify new market opportunities, client segments, and product development areas. /liliMonitor financial performance and implement corrective measures where required. /liliProvide structured reporting to Group management on sales, pipeline, and financial performance. /li /ulpbSales and Client Relationship Management /b /pulliLead the sales function to maximise conversion rates, margins, and long term client value. /liliManage and strengthen relationships with key corporate clients, agencies, and strategic partners. /liliOversee major proposals, tenders, and high value negotiations. /liliRepresent the company at international trade fairs, sales missions, and client meetings. /liliAccompany key clients on inspections, site visits, and familiarisation programmes when required. /li /ulpbOperations and Service Delivery /b /pulliOversee all operational activities to ensure seamless delivery of conferences, incentive groups, and corporate programmes. /liliEnsure all events are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with company quality standards. /liliAct as senior escalation point for client or operational issues. /liliEnsure structured planning, risk management, and contingency processes are in place. /liliNegotiate with key suppliers to secure competitive commercial terms. /li /ulpbTeam Leadership and Governance /b /pulliLead, motivate, and develop the Italy based team to achieve high performance. /liliSet clear objectives and conduct performance reviews. /liliEnsure compliance with Group standards, policies, and corporate governance requirements. /liliMaintain strong internal collaboration across markets. /li /ulpbQualifications /b /ppThis is a senior role and requires significant relevant experience. /ppbRequired Skills /b /pulliProven and demonstrable experience within the MICE industry is essential. /liliExperience gained within a recognised MICE agency or a hospitality group with a strong meetings and events focus is mandatory. /liliStrong track record in managing large scale conferences, incentive programmes, and international corporate events. /liliDemonstrated commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, margins, and revenue targets. /liliProven leadership experience in managing and developing teams. /liliStrong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. /liliWillingness to travel and represent the company internationally. /li /ulpbPreferred Skills /b /ppApplicants must submit details of key projects and portfolios personally managed, including scope, client profile, budget size, and results achieved.
