Role Summary And Impact
The Client Director leads the relationship with a key client, developing innovative communication strategies and promoting the use of agency tools, technologies, and media planning methodologies. This role ensures compliance with corporate guidelines, drives customer satisfaction, and serves as the main point of contact between the client and internal functions such as Strategy, Digital, Technology, and Commercial.
Key Responsibilities
Define and champion innovative communication strategies, adopting cutting‐edge agency tools and pioneering new media planning approaches.
Manage the budget of assigned brands strategically, identifying unmet client needs and defining success through KPIs related to satisfaction, value delivery, and business growth.
Coordinate daily interactions with internal agency functions (Strategy, Digital, Technology, Commercial), ensuring seamless collaboration and leveraging the WPP network for maximum client impact.
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in media leadership or client management.
Degree or equivalent cultural background.
Fluent English (C1) – mandatory.
Expertise in strategic media planning with deep knowledge of the evolving digital, tech, and martech landscape.
Exceptional client advocacy and negotiation skills, with a track record of shaping engagements and driving business success.
Prior experience in a strategic role or a strong strategic component in a previous position is considered a plus.
