We are looking for a
Regional Environmental Engineer
to take part in Refel S.p.a. located in San Vito al Tagliamento (PN) and follow all the Italian plants. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
* Degree in environmental engineering (or equivalent)
* 2/3 years of experience in similar roles in structured companies
* Knowledge of Legislative Decree 152/2006 (T.U.A.)
* Knowledge of environmental certifications (ISO 14001, ISO 14021, ISO 14025, ISO 14064)
* Knowledge of Emission Trading (ETS)
* Fluency in English and Italian
* Excellent knowledge of Excel
* Knowledge of SAP preferred
* Resident in Udine or Pordenone area
JOB DESCRIPTION
* Work with and assist the Quality and Environment Manager in leading his team under the Environment Management function to ensure that daily operations related to the Italian plants environment management are completed in a timely and efficient manner according to the vision, strategy and strategic plan set forth by Quality Management & Continuous Improvement function
* Review the Italian plants level compliance needs, input environmental declarations into legal systems and carry out compliance activities including taking corrective and preventive actions when an anomaly is observed
* Deal with documentation management related to the environment, A.I.A., quality certifications, sustainability, waste management, emission trading, energy, statistics and reporting
* Carry out data collection activities including collection and review of sensor data, environmental data coming from related functions and other manually collected data and take necessary actions
* Provide plants specific input regarding operations and customer expectations for environmental continuous improvement activities
* Support the Italian plants level operations of environmental impact assessments such as identification of potential activities with environmental impact and collecting and reporting data from the field
* Take emergency actions and first measures in environmental emergencies based on corporate emergency action plan
* Assist the Quality and Environment Manager with taking corrective actions and/or providing operational insight for the unachieved goals in the performance reports and KPIs
* Take part in the environmental continuous improvement projects led by Quality Management & Continuous Improvement and regional teams
