Further expansion within a number of markets has created the opportunity for a COO in Italy in order to drive the advancement of the organisation and ensure delivery to their ambitious but achievable 5 year strategy.The RoleThe role will be to Authorise and Execute their strong portfolio of late stage Utility Scale Solar, Wind, BESS and Hydrogen projects, whilst driving the ongoing strategy Greenfield and M&A development.Some duties would include:Drive the delivery of the Italian portfolio in close cooperation with the local 20+ person team, the global management team, and centralised functional teams.Develop and execute 3-5 year global strategy to support accelerated growth and to operate at Scale whilst driving efficiency & profitabilityDrive the Development, Authorisation & Construction of a 300MW+ pipeline of late-stage Utility Scale projectsDrive growth of a development portfolio through Greenfield & M&A.Ensure success in areas such as PPAs, Financing, Pre-Construction, Construction, and Asset ManagementOversee development of processes, tools, and best practices for effective Construction & Asset Management, and for interfacing & reporting across all internal and external stakeholdersStructure SPVs & undertake board-level responsibilitiesBuild, lead, and develop a high-performing teamLead & establish relationships with OEMs, financial institutions, O&M operators, governments, and major offtakers across regionBe the face of the business and strengthen the already positive reputation in the Italian marketExcellent future career opportunitiesThe PersonThe successful candidate will likely have:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Law or Engineering3+ years in a leadership position with a renewables companyExperience leading negotiations with counterparts across the various areas of the development, construction, and O&M phase of the lifecycleStrong commercial & technical knowledge, and financial acumenSpeak Italian & EnglishIf you are looking for a challenging role with prospects to match, make your application without delay.For more information and a confidential career discussion please contact:
