Position Summary
The Finance Director will drive the financial leadership, strategy, and governance of the Turner-ECS Group across its European locations. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and Board, the Finance Director oversees all financial disciplines—ranging from strategic planning and compliance to performance management and acquisitions.
This senior role suits a strategic financial leader (CFO level) who enjoys steering international growth, ensuring financial health, and providing insight-driven guidance to management and investors.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic financial leadership for all TECS entities (Netherlands, Italy, Germany, and the UK).
* Develop and manage the group’s financial strategy, multi-year plans, and profitability targets.
* Oversee statutory reporting, financial compliance, and risk management across jurisdictions.
* Lead and coordinate Finance Managers in each country, ensuring consistent reporting and control standards.
* Manage group cash flow, funding, and investment activities.
* Support international growth through acquisitions, integration, and business planning.
* Act as primary contact for the Board, investors, auditors, and financial institutions.
* Advise management on performance, forecasts, and resource allocation.
Candidate Profile
* Academic degree (Master’s or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
* Proven track record (10+ years) in senior financial leadership within international or industrial business.
* Demonstrated experience managing multi-entity or group finance environments.
* Strong analytical and strategic mindset with attention to compliance and risk.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Fluent in English (C1 level); Italian proficiency is a plus.
* Willingness to travel across Europe (approx. 10–20%).
