We are looking for a motivated
R&D; Electrical Engineer
to join our Technology Center in Southern Europe. You will focus on the
short circuit performance of power transformers
and support design and manufacturing teams with your expertise. About the Client

Develop new technologies, products, and processes for
core-type transformers Lead and manage
R&D; projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery Maintain and improve
technical standards and design tools Prepare
reports, specifications, and training materials
to share knowledge Assess
production processes
and suggest improvements Support factories with
troubleshooting and technical guidance Collaborate with platform developers on
technical specifications Build relationships with internal teams, universities, and customers Your Background
Master’s degree in
Electrical Engineering
(Mechanical Engineers with relevant experience may also apply) 5+ years’ experience in
power transformer design, testing, or manufacturing Solid knowledge of
short circuit physics in transformers Skilled in
finite element electromagnetic analysis tools ; basic 3D CAD skills (e.g., CREO) are a plus Experience with
engineering calculation or verification software Programming skills in
C#, C++, Python
are a plus Familiar with
mechanical calculations
(bending, torsion, materials) Excellent
