Our team provides in-depth strategic consultancy using a data-driven, collaborative, and customer-focused approach to achieve commercial goals of our sellers. /ph3What is the role of a BIE? /h3pAs a member of the central product team within SAS, you will assist the business teams in making data-driven decisions by transforming raw information into actionable intelligence through the creation of sophisticated data products. /ph3Key responsibilities /h3ulliGather and translate business requirements into scalable products. /liliDevelop complex automated data products including dashboards, reports and self-service. /liliDefine the data architecture and mechanisms to optimize the functions of the team. /liliActively mentor junior BIE colleagues on trends, technologies, and best practices. /li /ulh3Basic Qualifications /h3ulliExperience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets /liliExperience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results /liliExperience with AWS technologies /liliExperience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills /liliExperience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining /liliExperience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs /liliExperience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools /liliExperience in the data / BI space /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliExperience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership /li /ulh3Other /h3pAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
