CLOUD ENGINEER
Location: Milan, Italy
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate Application Maintenance and Delivery activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality and business objectives.
- Supervise and mentor junior and middle seniority team members.
- Configure software products for internal and external customers.
- Plan and manage project activities, including monitoring, reporting and resource management.
- Implement and manage microservice environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Manage relational and NoSQL databases to ensure application performance.
- Implement procedures for integrating customer data to and from Prometeia's products in a cloud environment.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 5 years of experience in similar roles, with evidence of leadership and management of projects of relevant complexity.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, in particular Microsoft Azure.
- Advanced skills with relational databases and NoSQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Ability to coordinate and manage technical and cross‑functional teams.
- Experience in planning, managing and delivering IT projects.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (Python, Microsoft PowerShell).
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Databricks and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge and/or experience in object‑oriented development (OOP).
- Certifications in Cloud (Azure) and Project Management (PMP, Prince2, Agile).
- Strong experience in managing microservice environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

REQUIREMENTS
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms and services, especially Microsoft Azure.
- Basic knowledge of Unix‑based operating systems (Ubuntu, Red Hat).
- Experience with microservices environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
NICE TO HAVE
- Skills in configuring and managing web servers (IIS, NginX).
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

SORINT.LAB CLOUD DEVOPS ENGINEER
Location: Remote (occasionally client office if required)
MANDATORY SKILLS
- System skills, in order to manage CI/CD processes.
- Knowledge of the main public cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google).
- Experience in designing and implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery solutions and related tools.
- Knowledge of the main DevOps programming languages such as Java, C, C#, Powershell, Python, TSQL.
- Good familiarity with the main Version‑Control systems (Subversion, GitHub/GitLab).
- Knowledge of the main Automation/Build systems, Containers and Microservices (Jenkins, Docker, Artifactory, Puppet, Azure DevOps).
- Familiarity with the main testing tools (JUnit, DBUnit, tSQLt).
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with configuration management tools, Deployment Automation & Orchestration (K8S, OCP).
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Groovy.
- Appreciated knowledge of Agile methodology and the Atlassian suite.
TASKS AND ACTIVITIES
- Study and deliver new projects in the Cloud.
- Automate the distribution infrastructure (IAC).
- Manage and maintain DevOps processes in the Cloud.

- Linux and networking skills required.

- Good knowledge of spoken and written Italian and English.
WORKPLACE
Remote working is allowed.
