Process Engineer (m/f/d)
Ensures that the painting production process is safe, stable, and efficient, and that it complies with the required quality standards, while optimizing the line’s performance, timing, and costs.
Job Responsibilities
Establishes, monitors, and optimizes the process parameters across the various stages of the painting process
Analyzes data and performance indicators (e.g., OEE, yield, productivity, rework, etc.)
Assesses and identifies potential causes of inefficiencies
Ensures the quality of the painted product by addressing recurring defects
Identifies appropriate corrective actions for each situation in collaboration with Production and Quality
Leads process improvement projects aimed, for example, at reducing operating costs or process variability, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
Manages the development of new products or the introduction of new technologies or paint materials
Promotes specific improvement activities based on inefficiency analyses
Develops new procedures and updates existing ones based on analysis results, involving relevant functions (EHS, Quality, Production, etc.)
Optimizes machine performance control systems, both by adding instrumentation when needed and by improving control methodologies
Collaborates with other functions in training operators within their area of expertise
Participates in daily plant meetings, contributing with insights gathered from the department and performance analyses
What Awaits You
Degree in Engineering in an industrial field (Chemical, Materials)
Strong inclination toward a structured approach
Excellent teamwork skills
Proactive attitude
Knowledge of problem‑solving methodologies (PDCA, 8D, etc.)
Planning and organizational skills
Strong communication abilities
Good proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent spoken and written English
Nice‑to‑have
Experience in coordinating teams within industrial environments
Achievement of certifications (e.g., Six Sigma)
Knowledge of the Power BI environment
Knowledge of the German language
