Program Structure Duration: 6 months Academic Learning: 1 week classroom, 3 weeks shop Outcome: Entry-level technician role Responsibilities Promote a positive work environment aligned with BMC's values. Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various equipment, including diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and more. Conduct inspections and tests, install or repair parts, and complete necessary paperwork. Use diagnostic tools and ensure excellent customer service. Achieve successful completion of apprenticeship requirements and demonstrate applied skills. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of troubleshooting, repair procedures, and reading schematics. Ability to operate lifting devices and diagnostic equipment. Familiarity with electronic sensors and connections. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Experience with CAT equipment is a plus. Working Conditions Work may occur indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
