In the role of Assistant Reception Manager at Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel, you will be a key leader within our Front Office department. You will support the Reception Manager in guiding the team, ensuring seamless daily operations, and upholding the highest standards of guest service from arrival to departure. Primary Responsibilities Include: Supervising the daily operations of the Front Desk, including check-in, check-out, and guest services. Training, mentoring, and motivating the Front Desk Agents and operational team. Assisting with staff scheduling and performance management. Handling escalated guest inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints with professionalism and empathy. Overseeing VIP guest arrivals, ensuring all special requests are met. Acting as Manager on Duty for the hotel as required. Collaborating with other departments (Housekeeping, F&B, Concierge) to ensure a cohesive guest experience. Requirements What You Bring: Significant experience in a Front Office supervisory or junior management role within a 5-star luxury hotel. Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills. In-depth knowledge of hotel Property Management Systems (PMS). Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken). Additional languages are a strong advantage. Impeccable personal presentation and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
