Position Description Overview Lead the Credit Risk Management function in Italy and play a key role in formulating, implementing and maintaining a scalable risk management strategy. Provide input to the regional credit & risk strategy, market positioning, customer acquisition and future roadmap. Responsibilities: - Ownership of the regional Credit Risk Management function - Manage and develop a team to ensure business goals are met and exceeded - Be part of the business team to support initiatives that drive revenue growth - Be able to make autonomous decisions based on approval authority derived on experience - Take charge of running the Credit & Risk Governance forums to demonstrate the key performance of risk management to the regional leadership team - Ensure Credit Policy remains current and appropriate to meet the risk appetite of the business - Investigate new markets and implement balanced policies that will allow the region to leverage revenue opportunities - Identify operational improvements and streamlining opportunities whilst maintaining high level of consistency with Fiserv standards. - Promote a culture of excellence and strive for continual improvement of working practices/procedures, where possible - Produce timely, accurate and meaningful Management Information - At least 5-7 years’ experience or equivalent in risk management environment - Highly advantageous to have worked within merchant acquiring - Excellent analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative. - Ability to shape Credit Risk Management strategy - Highly motivated with strong leadership experience - Ability to communicate with and influence a diverse group of stakeholders - Ability to work in a team, prioritise projects and manage multiple stakeholders - Ability to read and analyse financial statements and assess complex businesses - Must have solid experience in using systems technology to enhance risk mitigation and decision-making - Relevant education/degree Business Overview Life moves fast.
