Location
This role is based in our office located in Santa Palomba - Pomezia, Rome, Italy.
Responsibilities
* Provides technical expertise in the areas of workplace ergonomics, general industry safety orders, Johnson & Johnson worldwide environmental health and safety standards, hazard assessment techniques, accident investigations, and emergency response planning.
* Promotes workplace and product safety by identifying and monitoring potential hazards to people or property.
* Implements health and safety policies and programs developed for a site to assure that workplace conditions comply with all local government and company requirements.
* Facilitates compliance audits by assisting management in conducting risk assessments, and by participating on health and safety teams.
* Reviews operating and maintenance procedures for compliance with health and safety programs and policies.
* Participates in health and safety reviews, routine safety inspections and incident investigations where applicable with manufacturing and maintenance personnel including developing and implementing solutions.
* Participates as the health and safety representative in internal audits and internal consultation with HR and unions; participates as EHS representative in external audits and inspections by local government agencies.
* Develops training and communication programs according to JnJ Corporate program and EHS&S manager.
* Participates as the health and safety project of efficiency of resources like water, waste, energy, in collaboration with Facility Department and other production departments.
Qualifications

* Recommends content of health and safety policies, programs and certifications IOS14001 and OHSAS 18001.
* Provides content to emergency response plans and participates on emergency response team.
* Implements health and safety policies and programs developed for a site to assure that workplace conditions comply with all local government and company requirements.
* Facilitates compliance audits by assisting management in conducting risk assessments, and by participating on health and safety teams.
* Reviews operating and maintenance procedures for compliance with health and safety programs and policies.
