Medical Lead Europe – Location: Italy or Spain For a leading international pharmaceutical organization, we are looking for a Medical Lead Europe to drive Medical Affairs strategy and leadership across Europe in the field of Derma Oncology .In this highly strategic role, you will lead and coach a team of Medical Managers across several European countries and ensure the successful execution of Medical Affairs plans for branded products during both pre-launch and post-launch phases. You will work closely with EU Marketing and Commercial teams to align medical strategy with brand objectives while ensuring full compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards.This role combines strategic leadership with field engagement, giving you the opportunity to shape medical strategy while maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders across Europe.Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop Medical Managers across European markets
* Drive execution of EU Medical Affairs strategy in Derma Oncology
* Oversee country medical activities such as advisory boards, congress activities, Early Access Programs, and PASS studies
* Ensure delivery of high-quality scientific communication and HCP engagement
* Provide medical input to EU brand strategy in collaboration with Marketing
* Support and oversee Investigator-Initiated Trials (IITs)
* Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry codes and internal procedures
* Monitor country medical budgets and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
Your Profile
* Scientific or biomedical academic degree
* Substantial Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry
* At least some years of people management experience
* International experience in Medical Affairs and product launches preferred
* Experience in Derma Oncology is desirable
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Fluent in English
* Willing to travel up to 50%
