About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Grid Manager with 3–5 years of experience in the energy sector and a solid understanding of the Italian market and grid connection processes. The Grid Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire grid connection process for BESS and PV projects, from origination through to Ready-to-Build (RTB). This includes liaising with operators, TSO/DSOs (e.g., Terna, Enel), and external service providers.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full grid connection process for renewable energy projects (PV, storage, etc.).Conduct preliminary site assessments, including evaluating potential connections, infrastructure availability (Terna), and substation capacity.Prepare and submit grid connection requests (STMG and subsequent stages).Operate and manage the Terna/TSO portals, including communication, document submission, and feedback tracking.Participate in technical meetings with TSOs/DSOs and industry stakeholders.Review and validate connection designs provided by external consultants.Assess and manage technical connection solutions, including cost analysis, forecasts, and supplier quotations (e.g., Siemens).Coordinate with external providers and consultants to identify the most efficient solutions.Provide technical support to the development team through to RTB stage.RequirementsDegree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in grid connection or related roles (renewables preferred, though other energy sectors considered).Strong knowledge of the Italian electricity market, with direct or indirect experience working with Terna/Enel.Ability to manage complex processes and technical documentation.Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with TSOs/DSOs, suppliers, and consultants.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.Flexibility to work remotely, with occasional travel within Italy.Good command of English (international working environment).What We OfferCompetitive salary package Strategic role within an international and fast-growing company.Full geographic flexibility with a remote-first work model.Strong career growth opportunities in a dynamic and expanding renewable energy developer.
