Responsibilities
Provide healthcare services in Chinese medicine.
Teach undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
Supervise research postgraduate students.
Conduct academic research.
Perform administrative duties.
Qualifications
Recognized undergraduate degree in Chinese Medicine (registrable with the Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong) and a Ph.D. in Chinese Medicine or related disciplines.
Substantial experience in Chinese medicine clinical practice, teaching, and course development at tertiary institutions.
Proven track record of high-quality research and scholarship as measured by impactful publications, external grants, supervision of postgraduate students, and cross-disciplinary collaborations.
Strong commitment to Chinese Medicine education with interests in pedagogical and curriculum innovation.
Proficiency in both Chinese and English.
Appointment and Salary
The appointment is on a three-year fixed-term basis with the possibility of renewal and consideration for tenure after the second contract.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, along with annual leave and medical benefits.
The salary tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
A contract-end gratuity and university contribution to a retirement benefits scheme up to 15% of basic salary will be provided.
Housing benefits may be provided as applicable.
