The Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) team is looking for a passionate, talented, and inventive Senior Applied Scientist with a strong deep learning background to build Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) technology with Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal systems. Responsibilities
Lead the development of GenAI algorithms and modeling techniques to advance the state of the art with LLMs. Collaborate with talented peers to create products and services that leverage speech and language technology for customers. Utilize Amazon’s heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources to accelerate GenAI advances. About the team

PhD, or Master’s degree and 4+ years of applied research experience 4+ years of experience building machine learning models for business applications Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning Preferred Qualifications

The base pay for this position ranges from $150,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $260,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
