Our programmatic advertising platform team is looking for an experienced Manager for our Programmatic Consultants team to join Amazon Advertising's growing business. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliNavigate a high level of ambiguity. Identify key business problems to prioritize and present solutions to solve them on behalf of the business. /liliTake ownership of managing a team of Programmatic Consultants, including resource planning and driving success for the team’s customer category, with understanding of internal and external variables that impact the business. /liliWork tactically and strategically. Determine the right strategy and where to simplify or extend solutions for the best outcome of the assigned category. /liliHave strong analytical skills and be comfortable working with data to develop new opportunity areas, track program metrics, and use findings to influence business decisions. /liliSet goals and direction for the team, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision. /liliHire, develop, and lead a team of non-technical Programmatic Consultants. /liliThrive on technology and data with expertise in monitoring and managing a services organization to maximize efficiency, productivity, and quality. /liliGenerate and implement big ideas to drive business improvement, innovation, and scale within the team and across the business; lead cross-functional collaboration to implement ideas. /liliAnticipate bottlenecks, assess risks, mitigate issues, provide escalation management, and make trade-offs as needed. /liliCommunicate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups and represent Amazon in meetings with senior executive teams from top customers to build long-term strategic relationships. /li /ulh3Responsibilities – Day in the Life /h3ulliLead the frontline team enabling trading desk customers to be successful in using the Amazon DSP. /liliAttend meetings with client leadership to review customer certification and support plans. /liliJoin calls with Ad Tech Sales stakeholders to determine strategy and coverage for specific accounts. /liliCollaborate with Product and partner teams to review documents proposing feature upgrades to unblock customer needs and influence roadmap prioritization. /liliHold one-on-one meetings with direct reports to discuss career development and tool rollouts. /liliPrepare sections of a weekly business review document to review data-driven insights and discuss team wins and areas for improvement with leadership. /li /ulh3About the team /h3pHere at Amazon Ads, we embrace our differences. We value work-life balance and offer flexible working hours. /ph3Basic Qualifications /h3ulli5+ total years of work experience /lili2+ years of work experience with programmatic advertising in a consultative role /lili3+ years of work experience managing frontline teams /liliExperience analyzing data and identifying performance drivers /liliExperience influencing internal and external stakeholders /liliExcellent oral and written communication skills with ability to establish credibility with technical and non-technical business owners (mandatory English Italian) /liliAbility to handle changing priorities and work well under pressure /liliBachelor’s Degree /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliMasters/MBA preferred /lili5+ years of experience managing frontline teams /liliTechnical and operational experience with programmatic advertising technologies (DSP, RTB, machine learning optimization, ad verification/tracking, etc.) /liliAdvanced knowledge of DSP within ad platform architecture (bidding engines, auctions, pixeling, cookies, viewability, etc.) /liliExperience communicating goals and strategies to a team /liliKnowledge of AWS Technologies /liliExperience with services or products in the ad tech or programmatic space /liliApplied knowledge of measurement, statistics, and program evaluation /li /ulpAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
