We are looking for a Procurement Director to lead our country Procurement organization, confirming Procurement as a true strategic business partner.

In this role, you will not only drive cost efficiency — you will influence country business strategy, enable growth, and lead the sustainability agenda, while building a high-performing team that delivers results.

Your mission
\n
As Procurement Director Italy, you will play a key role as strategic partner to the business in delivering on our core business pillars:
\n
- Drive growth (Top Line): Contribute to competitive and innovative client offers, supporting tenders and retention;
- Deliver results (Bottom Line): Lead cost optimization and value creation initiatives;
- Lead sustainability (Green Line): Embed responsible sourcing into category strategies and decisions;
- Build winning teams : Develop and lead a high-performing, engaged, and future-ready organization.

What you will do
\n
- Define and drive the country procurement strategy in alignment with global and regional direction
- Act as a strategic partner to the business, influencing decisions and driving commercial outcomes
- Ensure effective supplier strategies, performance management, and long-term partnerships
- Drive the implementation of tools, systems, and operating models aligned with global standards
- Lead procurement in a highly regulated public sector environment, in compliance with country laws and regulations
- Ensure compliance with food safety, regulatory, and quality standards across the supply base
- Navigate an international matrix environment, working cross-functionally with key stakeholders
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering engagement, accountability, and continuous growth
- Act as a senior leadership contributor, engaging with executive stakeholders and supporting country‑level decision making

What you bring

- Strong leadership experience, building and developing high-performing teams
- A proven ability to drive both commercial impact and cost performance
- A solid understanding of responsible sourcing, compliance, and quality requirements
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to operate in a matrix organization
- Strong communication and storytelling skills, enabling you to align and inspire across functions
- A hands-on, pragmatic approach, combined with strategic thinking
- Proficient in Italian (mandatory) and advanced in English
- Experience with procurement tools, ERP systems, and digital transformation is considered a strong advantage
- Extensive experience in the Food & Beverage sector would be highly appreciated
- Right to work in Italy is required
