All about the role:
- Be part of a fast-growing team dedicated to the development of state of the art solutions for domestic refrigerators!
- As MBD Specialist, you will work in an open-minded, international environment. You will collaborate with experts from all over the world and be part of a team where creativity is welcome and innovation applied to product development is the key mission. Your main task will be guiding the design of control algorithm for domestic refrigerators using a Model Based Design approach and support experts in noise and vibration, fluid-dynamic, thermos-dynamic and food freshness to reach outstanding performances.
What you'll do:
- Create control algorithms for domestic refrigerators following the MBD approach (Model in the Loop, Rapid Control Prototyping and Automatic Code Generation)
- Support Hardware in the Loop activities
- Support the development of thermodynamic models of refrigerators
- Support the development of the technology roadmap for algorithm development
- Cooperate with other experts to ensure that all project targets are met
- Support the test execution and all validation phases
- Translate market needs into technical solutions
- Create all necessary documentation, testing and approval guidelines
- Closely interact with all R&D; functions to ensure a seamless delivery of projects
- Minimize trial and error activities and costs, and improve the right-first-time result in prototype generation
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Control, Automation or Mechatronic Engineering;
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in designing control algorithm, preferably in white goods, automotive or aerospace industry;
- Deep knowledge of Matlab and Simulink;
- Deep knowledge of control theory;
- Deep experience in developing control algorithms;
- Good knowledge of data analytics and data science workflows;
- Ability to model mechanical, thermal, fluid, and electrical systems;
- Good Knowledge of C/C++;
- Knowledge of Python and Visual Basic is a plus;
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment is a plus;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Good communicational skills;
- Fluent English written and spoken;
