Ph3Overview /h3 pAs a member of the Onshore Wind Due Diligence team, the candidate handles managing and executing independent engineering and technical advisory services to support the financing, sale, or acquisition of wind projects and portfolios across different countries. Within a TDD process, the candidate should handle internal and external coordination of the fulfilment of the project, close follow-up with customers along the project from kick-off meeting to invoicing, respecting project timeline, ensuring the project profitability meets expected targets, checking on customer’s satisfaction and channel internally improvement areas. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liManaging and executing technical due diligence processes to support the financing, sale, or acquisition of wind and solar projects and portfolios, including site overview, overseeing turbine technology review, civil and electrical design review, review of commercial and technical contracts (TSA, BOP, OM, TCMA, PPA, etc.), project schedule, environmental and permitting process, financial model (DEVEX, CAPEX, OPEX), site visits (development, construction, or operation). /li liCompile and complete TDD reports and summarize key results and conclusions. Ensure a quality of work that meets and exceeds client expectations. Integrate all review sections from UL Solutions and sub-consultants’ multi-disciplinary team and the results of energy analysis and ensure that technical and commercial analysis is consistent throughout sections. /li liPerform site visits during construction and operation and perform monthly construction monitoring site visits to review progress against technical specifications, budget and milestone schedule. Compile and review site visit reports and monthly construction monitoring reports. /li liPrepare proposals detailing scope of work, team, budget and schedule for completion. /li liWork with customers as the main client interface for UL Solutions. Attend client meetings with lenders and developers as needed. Engage clients and internal staff to develop creative solutions to meet client needs; provide exceptional customer service with a focus of growing client relationships. /li liManage and schedule internal resources as well as internal and external individuals to ensure project deliverables stay on time, on target, and on budget. /li liPrepare communication plan and related project status reports. Facilitate and lead regular status meetings with internal project team, sponsors, and stakeholders. /li liRepresent UL Solutions at conferences and business development meetings. /li liEnsure the use of best practices and apply lessons learned from previous projects. /li liMentor and train junior staff and assume responsibility for the internal growth of the team. /li liWork with multi-disciplinary team to identify project risks, barriers, and issues and propose possible solutions and mitigation strategies. /li liSupport the business strategy and development for the advisory due diligence team. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liAt least +8 years of experience as a project manager in wind due diligence, project development, construction, equipment supply, operation or mergers and acquisitions. /li liDemonstrable experience handling utility scale wind Projects with experience on site overview, design, familiar with the review of typical contracts (TSA, BOP, OM, PPAs, etc.) and financial model. /li liGood understanding of wind technology and other main equipment in the BOP of a wind Project, including typical KPIs and high-level understanding of energy modelling for wind projects. /li liGood understanding of the local wind market with a high degree of connection with key stakeholders in the local wind industry. /li liFocused and versatile team player who is comfortable under pressure, ambiguity, frequent change, or unpredictability. Ready to work under pressure and exigent delivery dates and successfully manage multiple complicated projects. /li liHighly motivated, with a versatile personality and excellent interpersonal skills. /li liExcellent project management, written and verbal communication skills. /li liAble to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, with senior stakeholder reporting and escalation experience. /li liAbility to anticipate risks and devise solutions in the moment. /li liDemonstrable experience on solar and/or BESS would be considered as a plus. /li liAt least bachelors-level education and core competence in a relevant field, e.g., mechanical, civil or electrical engineering, environmental engineering, construction management, operations and maintenance, commercial, legal, finance. Master in Renewable Energy related aspects is considered as beneficial. /li liLanguage Skills: English is a must, other language skills (Polish, Spanish, France, Italian, German) will be of high interest. /li liAdvanced Microsoft Office user (Word, Excel) and good predisposition for new technologies and digital solutions. /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 ul liTotal Rewards: We understand that rewards are an important consideration as you plan the next step in your career. Salary range varies by location and local market conditions (for Poland, the salary range for this position is PLN 212,000 - 282,300 gross/year). It is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and other factors. This position is eligible for an annual bonus with a target payout of 10% of base salary.
