In this role, you will be responsible for direct interaction with our customers, providing proactive customer service, problem solving, and follow-up. Your daily activities will include shipment processing and monitoring, sharing key milestone updates with customers, and managing deviations for both import and export operations. Scope and Main Responsibilities: - Manage import and export processes in compliance with national, European, and international legislation, including rules of origin. - Check and verify import/export documentation (invoices, Bills of Lading, AWB, DAU, EUR1, insurance documents). - Execute booking and documentation procedures with clients and carriers. - Collaborate with suppliers to effectively manage customers’ shipments. - Ensure on-time shipment movements and smooth handling of all exceptions, respecting daily service level agreements and KPIs. - Guarantee the accurate execution of all international import and export activities. Qualifications: - Professional proficiency in Italian and English; additional languages are a plus. - Minimum 3 year of operational experience in Ocean freight. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. - Customer-focused approach to problem solving. - Experience in the shipping industry is an advantage. - Knowledge of freight forwarding requirements, market dynamics, and regulations is an advantage. - Experience with customs regulations for import and export is a plus.
