Software Development Manager, OnRoad Transporter ExperienceThe Last Mile Technology team supports multiple businesses globally, creating the technology that supports deliveries for businesses such as Prime Now, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Restaurants, Amazon Lockers, and other current and new initiatives.Our team is seeking a talented SDM to lead a large team responsible for building many of the core delivery quality experiences in the Android and iOS driver delivery apps as well as the backend services that power them. The scope and impact of this team's work is massive, with great opportunities for growth and ownership. You\'ll have the chance to work across multiple technologies - mobile, micro-services, ML, CV, IoT - and utilize these to innovate and push forward the frontier of logistics.The successful candidate is expected to be a hands-on technical manager who understands and sets a high bar for all phases of the software development life-cycle including: design, development, documentation, testing, experimentation, and operations. Amazon's Last Mile teams deliver packages (and groceries, Prime Now, third party, and Restaurant orders) to homes, businesses, Amazon Lockers, and even cars all over the world!
