We offer a role as Quality & Material Specialist, based in Aliaxis Casella (GE), reporting to the Plant Quality & Material Manager.
The candidate will verify that products are manufactured according to internal and external standards, complying with current regulations and customer specifications, with a focus on raw materials. Responsibilities also include assessing the characteristics and properties of raw materials used in the plant, before and after processing.
Key Responsibilities
* QC of raw materials before and after processing according to technical specifications
* Conducting lab activities related to material qualification and processing trials
* Performing mechanical and functional tests to verify part compliance based on quality control sheets
* Recording tests and trials, and drafting reports
* Processing and evaluating collected data
* Managing tools and calibration in accordance with ISO 9001 standards
* Drafting non-conformance reports using tools like FMEA, RCA, 8D for continuous quality improvement
* Contributing to the development of procedures and technical instructions related to raw materials and QA
Qualifications and Competencies
* Technical degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Material Science, or Chemical Engineering
* Experience in a similar role focused on material and product quality control
* Training in QC systems
* Experience with lab activities in plastic materials characterization
* Fluent in English
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Proficiency with office automation tools
