Mechanical Designer / Drafter of Piping Components

Required Skills:
\n
· Experience as a mechanical designer/drafter and/or relevant educational background (e.G. Mechanical/Industrial Engineering degree or technical diploma)
\n
· Software knowledge:
\n
-SolidEdge and/or similar 3D drafting software (e.G. SolidWorks, Inventor, etc.)
\n
-Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
\n
· English language proficiency
\n
Preferred Qualifications (considered a plus in candidate selection):
\n
· Professional experience in at least one of the following fields: piping, piping components, process valves, pressure vessels, actuators
\n
· Professional experience in Oil & Gas, Power, or Process industries
\n
· Knowledge of major applicable codes and standards (e.G. ASME VIII, ASME B31.X, EN 13480, EN 13445-3, API 6A)
\n
· Knowledge of materials commonly used in piping applications and related product standards
\n
· Knowledge of manufacturing and material processing methods (e.G. machining, forging, heat treatment, welding, etc.)
\n
· Experience with FEM/FEA methodologies (e.G. Femap with Nastran, ANSYS Mechanical)
\n
· Knowledge of 2D drafting software (e.G. AutoCAD)
\n
