The company headquarters is located in Bolzano, Northern Italy, at the plant formerly owned by Lancia, a renowned manufacturer of industrial vehicles founded in 1937 and incorporated into the Iveco Group in 1975.IDV boasts an independent internal structure entirely dedicated to research and development, with full access to the company's extensive engineering resources .
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
Analyze existing logistics processes (AS-IS) and define the functional and technical requirements of the WMS for all operational phases: receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory managementDesign logistic flows, slotting strategies, and management rules to be implemented in the WMSManage the selection, configuration, customization, and go-live of the WMSCoordinate the integration of the WMS with the company's MRP/ERP system, ensuring correct synchronization of master data, orders, movements, and inventoriesDefine and oversee the interfaces between the WMS and the WCS (Warehouse Control System) for real-time management of warehouse automationDesign the integration with RFID systems for full traceability of handling units (dimensions, weights, stackability, WMS coding, etc.), batches, and serial numbers throughout the entire supply chainCollaborate with the technical team to integrate AGVs and manage their operationsUse simulation tools to size production capacity, optimize flows, validate operational scenarios, and identify bottlenecksDesign and implement KPI dashboards to monitor operational performance (productivity, accuracy, lead time, resource xpavfwm utilization)Prepare complete technical-functional documentation and operational user manualsTrain key users and warehouse operators on WMS usage and new operational proceduresEnsure post–go-live support, monitor performance, and propose continuous improvement actions
Professional Experience and Skills:
Knowledge of simulation and flow modeling toolsExperience in automation projectsData analysis and custom integrationsKnowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies applied to logistics
