MICHAEL KORS We have an exciting opportunity for a PR Coordinator Department overview The PR communications team are responsible for driving the creative development, execution and roll out of the PR / media communications and celebrity strategy across Europe for this dynamic, fast paced and innovative brand. Responsibilities Support the PR Manager to develop and deliver the PR strategies across Europe to help build brand awareness and drive traffic within the Communications divisions. You will work with the European PR Team and closely with the EMEA Brand Marketing, Events, Digital Communications, Wholesale Marketing, Retail Marketing, Ecommerce, Licensing and Franchisee teams to ensure all messaging is cohesive and Omni-channel. Assist the PR Department with all European press requests in addition to any samples requests arising internally. Responsible for booking out samples, coordinating messengers pickups, international shipping and following up to ensure timely return of all samples to avoid possible missed opportunities. Ensure our presence in all March / September issues. Direct responsibility for the following countries: Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Belgium, Croatia, Romania, Latvia, Luxembourg, Lithuania, Croatia. Support PR Manager and PR Director on all projects & requests. Creatively develop and execute seasonal and integrated EMEA PR strategies to elevate Michael Kors alongside the PR manager / Director. To include all business channels: Retail, Wholesale, social and digital. Update sample loan out / return book. Merchandise PR showroom, maintaining throughout season and archiving collections as each season ends. Update regularly forthcoming credits advising line manager in case of any issues in good time. To send out seasonal collateral (look books, CDs, images, etc.) to press. Proactively organize press appointments in the showroom. Assist / support on all lists and invitations for catwalk shows, follow up on press coverage. Support and communicate across the board with all other relevant MK departments namely marketing, ecomm, digital, sales, VM etc. Work directly with NY PR in accommodating internal samples requests. Ensure all requests are received in correct format; check availability and process, following up on all returns to HQ. Ensure PR department receives all RTW and accessories line list and price lists at the beginning of each season so that credit information is sent to all titles in timely manner. Create monthly credit report excel spreadsheets with European credit information and work with PR assistant / intern to properly archive credits each season. Manage ADV credit chart and make sure all relevant credits are achieved in the relevant books. Maintain and continue to develop relationship with European press through constant communication in order to gain more credit in regional titles. Assist in calling and sending personal thank you notes (gifts where applicable) to editors for resulted coverage. Support in organizing all seasonal press presentations: space set up, catering, flowers, invitations, compile guests list, press kits and follow up with press. Maintain press database up to date.
