Here, the Expansion Project Team, carried out by the company Logistica Giuliana, is planning and executing a game changer phased project aiming to integrate the current facility into a state-of-the-art container and Ro-Ro terminal, making use of the most advanced technologies and expertise. /ppTo support this transformation, we are looking for a bIT Project Manager (Hardware) /b to join the Expansion Project Team. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliPlan, coordinate and deliver IT hardware infrastructure required for the future terminal. /liliEnsure hardware systems are properly specified, delivered, installed and integrated in line with project timelines, operational requirements and safety standards. /liliAct as a key interface between IT, Operations, Engineering, external suppliers and project stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution across all expansion phases. /liliManage and coordinate IT hardware projects within the terminal expansion programme. /liliDefine and validate hardware and infrastructure requirements (networks, communication systems, servers, data centres, field devices). /liliCoordinate suppliers and contractors providing works or services, ensuring compliance with technical, safety and security requirements. /liliOversee installation, testing and commissioning of IT hardware systems. /liliEnsure seamless integration between hardware, software and existing IT systems. /liliSupport project planning, scheduling and risk management for hardware-related activities. /liliCoordinate acceptance tests, integration tests and go-live phases. /liliEnsure compliance with port safety, security and corporate IT standards. /liliParticipate as part of the Expansion IT Project Management Team, contributing to overall project governance. /li /ulh3Qualifications and requirements /h3pWe are looking for a hands-on project manager with strong technical understanding and the ability to coordinate complex hardware deployments in an industrial environment. /pulliVery good English skills (Italian and/or German are a plus). /lili5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on hardware and infrastructure. /liliProven experience in networking, data communication and IT infrastructure; experience in industrial, logistics, port or terminal environments is strongly preferred. /liliAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and suppliers in an international context. /liliStrong organizational and communication skills. /liliStructured, process- and risk-oriented mindset. /liliSolid understanding of IT project management methodologies. /liliDegree in IT, Engineering or a related field. /liliValid EU work permit and willingness to relocate to Trieste at short notice. /li /ulpThe ideal candidate would have a valid EU working permit and would be willing to relocate to Trieste in short notice. /ppemWe encourage applications from candidates belonging to protected categories under Law 68/99, including individuals with disabilities and other underrepresented groups. /em /ppemAs an international logistics company with its roots in Hamburg, HHLA stands for cosmopolitanism and tolerance.
