Purpose of the job
The Industrialization Engineer is responsible for industrializing the maintenance, renovation/modernization, and warranty activities to ensure the delivery of maintenance and production targets.
Responsibilities
* Analyze requirements described in the maintenance plan.
* Draft and validate process documentation (Standard Operation Sheet).
* Identify necessary tools and materials, from technical specifications to field validation.
* Organize layout (facilities, workstations, material/people flow, operators, civil works).
* Validate, with the project team, the optimal strategy to maximize production resource utilization.
* Organize maintenance activities according to Alstom standards (activity sequence, cycle time, delivery, packaging, ergonomics, skills, EHS, quality).
* Manage documentation on SAP Railsys (task list, materials, tools).
* Validate processes on-site with the operations team.
* Manage suppliers for main equipment creation.
* Identify actions to improve project performance.
* Respect budget constraints.
* Develop business cases for investment evaluation and Make or Buy strategies.
Requirements
* Master’s degree in engineering.
* 2 to 5 years’ experience, preferably in the railway industry within an international organization.
* Ability to read schematics and drawings.
* Experience in Methods Engineering, writing and improving work instructions, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing.
* Experience with ERP systems like SAP for BOM, routings, configuration.
* Knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards.
* Ability to innovate and manage change.
* Excellent teamwork skills and stakeholder engagement.
* Strong organizational and planning skills.
* Willingness to learn and develop.
* Fluent in English and Italian.
