Descrizione

Ph3Research assistant in CRISPR‑engineered cellular models of genetic disorders /h3 pbIIGM /b is located at the FPO IRCCS Candiolo Cancer Institute, Candiolo Turin - Italy). The main goal of bFPO IRCCS Candiolo ( /b and bIIGM (Home - Italian Institute for Genomic Medicine) /b is to foster and develop excellence in research and education, with special reference to cancer biology and cancer biomarker discovery. The institute provides high-level scientific education for students and post-doctoral fellows, and access to state-of-the-art research facilities and international networks. /p pbGender Equality Plan /b: diversity is our legacy and our future. Be part of it. At bIIGM /b diversity is an integral part of our culture and identity and for this we have adopted a plan for gender equality (GEP). We promote diversity and inclusion because we recognize that they are a source of strength and competitive advantage. /p pThe Chemical Biology Lab at the Italian Institute for Genomic Medicine (IIGM) is seeking highly motivated candidates at all levels of seniority (predoc, postdoc) to work in high-content imaging and analysis with a focus on cell-to-cell heterogeneity and phenotypic variability in membrane trafficking. The laboratory investigates key aspects of Rab GTPases and their involvement in hereditary genetic diseases. The project aims to generate cellular model of steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome (SRNS) disease and perform genotype-phenotype correlation analysis using molecular and computational tools developed in the lab. By integrating phenotypic mapping with biochemical and genetic information, we seek to elucidate the biological functions of rare genetic variants causing steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome. The Institute provides state-of-the-art genomics, single-cell genomics sequencing platforms and high-content imaging platforms. /p pThe successful candidates will take on the following responsibilities: /p ul liGenerate isogenic HK-2 cell lines harbouring genetic mutations causing SRNS disease /li liPerform immunostaining of Rab GTPase and other proteins involved in intracellular trafficking /li liPerform biochemical experiments on Rab GTPase regulators /li liConduct image acquisition using automated microscopy systems /li liPerform image data analysis of high-dimensional dataset /li liContribute to ongoing research group activities and collaborative projects /li /ul h3Requisiti /h3 pbQualifications and requirements /b: /p ul liBachelor’s degree in biotechnology, biology, medicine, chemical biology, pharmacy or a related field; /li li1 year experience in at least one of the following subjects: /li li(i) generation of knock-in CRISPR/Cas9 edited human cells /li li(iii) high-content imaging and data analysis /li li(iv) mammalian tissue culture (cells and/or organoids) /li ligood command of the English language /li liknowledge of Italian is an advantage, but not strictly necessary /li licuriosity and active learning /li licritical thinking and problem‑solving /li litime management /li liadaptability and flexibility /li lieffective communication in cross-cultural environments /li /ul pbInterested candidates should include /b: /p ul liresearch proposal (for postdoc applicants only) /li licertificates, transcripts including all grades of your previous qualifications, and a list of publications /li /ul pbPositions /b: no. 01 /p pbOffered contract /b: Coordinated and Continuous Collaboration contract (Co.Co.Co.) on a project basis duration to be defined. Competitive remuneration based on the candidate’s personal qualifications. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
