We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Associate to perform day-to-day processing of Account Receivables transactions to ensure that debtors’ accounts are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.
The Account Receivable Associate ensures that receivables are collected in a timely manner and processes credit memos and refunds to customers.
What you’ll do:
* Perform credit collection activities, including reminders to Customers and doubtful debts management.
* Assist in the Sales Order Release process.
* Create customers’ accounts.
* Process manual invoices and invoices at the end of the month (“Fatturazione differita”).
* Process refunds to Customers and record the transactions on the ERP.
* Post, process and verify all incoming payments.
* Monitor and manage the Accounts Receivable aging.
* Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.
* Verify that transactions comply with corporate policy and procedures.
* Generate monthly reports (Aging Report/Price over-ride/Credit Memo).
* Help the team with the closing month procedures.
* Communicate with other departments to resolve questions and problems.

* Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
What you’ll need:
* Bachelor’s degree in finance/economics (or related field) or equivalent combination of education and working experience.
* Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others.
* Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a flexible and challenging environment.
* Time management and follow-up skills.
* Must demonstrate proficient working knowledge of spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel).
* Basic knowledge of SAP (or another ERP) would represent a plus.
* Proficiency and fluency in English.
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
