The OpportunityYou will manage the full proposal lifecycle across strategic bids, working closely with technical, commercial, and operational teams. This is a high-visibility role central to securing major programmes across space and high-tech sectors.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead coordination, preparation, and submission of institutional and commercial proposalsManage the full bidding lifecycle: bid analysis, customer interaction, drafting, validation, negotiation, and contractualisationEnsure compliance with procurement rules, regulatory standards, and export requirementsCoordinate cross-functional technical and commercial inputsOversee pricing logic, budgeting, and cost analysisMaintain proposal and CRM databasesContribute to process improvement and knowledge development
Essential ExperienceMaster's degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline2+ years in proposal/bid management or sales engineeringExperience in aerospace, defence, space, or other high-tech sectorsStrong understanding of technical specifications and risk managementSolid pricing and cost modelling capabilityFluency in EnglishStrong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent bids
DesirableExperience with national/international tendersKnowledge of ECOSBackground in optical or electro-optical systems
