GRS Recruitment are working with a well-established Law firm in Nicosia who are searching to recruit a Lawyer – Corporate, Banking and Finance to join the team in Nicosia. For this role we are looking for a professional individual with at least 5 years of relevant experience. 1. Advising on corporate, banking and finance transactions, including corporate lending, refinancing and restructuring.
2. Drafting, reviewing and negotiating facility agreements, security documents and ancillary finance documentation.
3. Drafting, reviewing and advising on Cyprus-law security packages, including charges, pledges, guarantees and assignments.
4. Drafting and reviewing memorandum and articles of association, corporate authorisations, powers of attorney.
5. Drafting and reviewing conditions precedent, including incumbency certificates, corporate registers and related documentation.
6. Liaising with local and international banks, financial institutions, clients and external counsel.
7. Managing assigned matters and transaction workstreams with appropriate supervision.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
8. 3–5 years’ post qualification experience with a primary focus on Banking & Finance.
9. Experience gained in a reputable Cyprus law firm or comparable international practice.
10. Strong knowledge of Cyprus banking and finance law and market practice.
11. Excellent drafting skills in English and Greek.
12. Ability to manage multiple matters, meet deadlines efficiently and perform effectively under pressure.
13. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
