As Production Planning Specialist Offshore, you will join our Fabrication Control Management Department performing the following activities:
During bidding phase:
* Support the definition of procurement and fabrication strategies, project schedule, and manhours estimation based on bidding documentation and data analysis.
At project start-up:
* Assist the project team in releasing the project schedule related to fabrication activities, defining engineering and procurement deliverable dates accordingly.
* Contribute to the preparation of WBS and ensure the issuance of estimated man-hours.
During project execution:
* Ensure cycled man-hours preparation and operative planning (work-pack issuance).
* Monitor actual vs. cycled man-hours and produce ETC (Estimate To Complete) analysis.
* Support decision-making regarding project modifications, providing qualitative and quantitative analysis of production status and trends.
* Ensure timely upload of project data and production feedback into the yard management system.
* Support continuous operational improvements.
* Coordinate pre-fabrication and fabrication activities to manage workload and manpower saturation.
* Develop multi-project production plans to evaluate manpower and external resources.
* Issue the project execution plan.
* Assess time and cost impacts of subcontractor claims.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in Management, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
ENGLISH KNOWLEDGE: B2/C1 level.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent contract.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 4-7 years in production planning.
IT SKILLS: Advanced MS Office.
SOFT SKILLS:
* Problem solving;
* Ability to work independently and in a team;
* Flexibility and willingness to work offshore on rotation, both nationally and internationally.
LOCATION: Willingness to relocate to sites worldwide or remote areas for the long term.
