For leading multinational Italian group, we are looking for a
* Global Information Technology Manager for AFC Solutions
The role will report to the Global Vice President for Supply Chain, F&A, R&D&Q, and Internal Audit.
Job Purpose
Manage the relationship with the Key Business Process Owners within the area of Finance & Administration, through the identification & understanding of business needs, in continuous alignment with business strategic goals and the entire IT organization.
Define and execute the IT strategy for the F&A area and manage the relevant budget and project portfolio, while contributing to the overall global IT strategy and management.
End-to-end accountable for delivery and run of all solutions within scope (e.g., the relevant ERP modules, the EPM solution, the Treasury system, Reporting and Advanced Analytics solutions, etc.).
Key Accountabilities
Business Partnership and IT Strategy
* Continuously interact with business partners to understand their goals, proposing solutions that deliver real business value and meaningful innovation.
* Define the IT system strategy for F&A considering desired business evolution and in alignment with overall IT strategy, focusing on cost efficiency, benefits, and constraints.
* Manage demand and build a roadmap of activities, challenging the organization to identify high-value initiatives.
* Act as an innovation agent within business and IT organizations, fostering a mindset of innovation in content and methodologies.
* Build strategic partnerships with relevant suppliers, identifying new opportunities and strengthening existing relationships.
Project & Portfolio Management
* Ensure initiatives are managed according to time and cost parameters, mobilizing necessary teams and collaborating closely with business leads.
* Occasionally act as project manager for larger or more complex initiatives.
* Design solutions according to IT architecture and security guidelines, fulfilling business needs.
* Manage budgets and contracts, collaborating with the IT PMO team.
* Negotiate with IT suppliers to optimize costs, quality, and timing.
* Contribute to cross-functional projects like ERP rollouts.
* Ensure application maintenance and infrastructure are aligned with ongoing initiatives.
Run
* Define maintenance strategies for F&A systems.
* Establish and monitor SLAs with Business Owners.
* Analyze problems and areas for improvement to guide intervention programs.
* Plan and execute backbone enhancements for business-as-usual activities.
Requirements
* 8+ years of experience managing initiatives in the AFC IT area, preferably in FMCG companies or leading consulting firms.
* Excellent command of English; Italian language skills are a plus.
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or MBA.
* Strong knowledge of F&A processes and innovative IT solutions.
* Experience with advanced analytics, RPA, process mining, and similar technologies is advantageous.
* Proficiency in agile development approaches.
* Strong project management skills and experience leading digital transformation projects.

* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
