PURPOSE OF THE JOB
They contributes to Train Lab preparation and operation:
1. Secure TrainLab readiness : Hardware installation, integration and commissioning.
2. Prepares TrainLab configuration for test execution.
3. Supports test teams during test execution insuring availability of the functional test means..
4. Execute train level functional test by delegation from TVE when applicable
Scope is extended to other functional test means: Co-simulation computers and TCMS Testbench

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Performance Measurement/KPI’s
14. Measure the maturity and the readiness of the TrainLab at each GR.
15. Functional Coverage of the TrainLab at each validation campaign (with TVE)
16. Delivery On time configuration of the TrainLab
17. TrainLab efficiency on test execution: % of time used for test execution > 90%
18. TrainLab efficiency on test execution: % of time used for test execution > 90%
19. Time to implement 1 new configuration < 2 weeks
20. Time to start the Trainlab < 30 minutes
Responsibilities
21. 100% compliant with EHS rules (in particular regarding activities performed on TrainLab and TestBench)
22. Collect the inputs for Test means configurations and analyse their quality
23. Test means applicable configuration definition
24. Train LV schematics
25. Train equipment models :
26. Basic functional models (from TC)
27. Software in the Loop + Environmental Models
28. Hardware in the Loop
29. TCMS software and associated deliverables (ICD)
30. Development of environmental models
31. Preparation of TrainLab: Subsystem hardware Integrations, Commissioning of uLab and guest cubicles, Network deployment with IS&T.
32. Generate the configurations for the functional Test means and verify coherence with TCR (Target Configuration Release) and Train Needs.
33. Perform specific investigations and measurements linked to TrainLab environment and contribute to continuous improvement of tools: LV modeling, equipment modeling, configuration tools
34. Support the TE during test execution (might be 3*8 work) and provide analysis for the anomalies detected during test (Subsystem anomaly, TrainLab limitation, Configuration Issue, etc).
35. Execute train level functional test by delegation from TVE when applicable
36. Support CE and SE during system commissioning and investigation activities.
37. Compile & sustain the standard documentation for configuration generation
38. Support deployment and animation of Test means performance KPI
39. Support the test engineer on report creation and TPRs analysis.
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
40. Engineering school
41. Master of Science (Engineering, Physical Sciences or others)

Experience
Mandatory:
44. Practical knowledge of validation Means (Testbench, simulators…)
45. Practical experience on software integration & validation phases (minimum of 2 years’ experience in Railway or Health, Defence, Aeronautical, Automotive domains).

46. Practical knowledge of validation methods (boundary tests, equivalent class tests…)
47. Practical knowledge of validation tools (TestStand, model-based testing tools…)
