Ansaldo Nucleare provides tailored design and engineering, manufacturing, assembly, testing, commissioning, on-site installation and integrated logistics services for all market segments in which it operates: New Builds, Fusion, Plant Operation Assistance, Decommissioning and Waste Management. Support the engineering design activities mainly referring to MV & LV distribution systems for nuclear applications. Design/sizing of all the major electrical components/machines including the identification of the “fit for purpose” solutions, from conceptual/basic to detailed design including the details necessary to manage the supply of these components according to the national (CEI) and international (IEC/EN) electrical codes. Main responsibilities - Ensure the execution of design activities with best engineering practices, - Technical specs, load lists, SLDs 3LDs, electrical sizing calculation, purchase technical specification, technical evaluation of the Supplier’s offers, technical follow-up of the supplies, - Follow up the manufacturing/assembling, the FAT, the on-site installation and testing activities of the electrical switchboards/components, - Support the on-site installation activities for electrical works, - Coordinate mono-disciplinary working groups, - Master Degree in Electric Engineering - 5 years’ experience in electrical systems design (preferably in a highly regulated industrial sector) - Skilled in the design of new MV/LV distribution systems (MV MCS, LV PCs/MCCs, subdistribution boards), and integration of electrical systems in existing ecosystems (including upgrade or refurbishment of existing plant), MV/LV protection systems (legacy and digital systems), MV/LV switchboards, cable list, power typical drawings and WD schematics and Electrical machines (generators, motors, trafos, UPS, genset) - Knowledge of the relevant Electrical norms and standard (e.g., CEI/EN/IEC) including functional safety and of the power system component sizing SW (e.g., Etap, Ampere, Caneco, DocWin) - Additional competences: o nuclear specific codes and standard for safety application, environmental and/or seismic qualification (e.g., IEEE, RCC-E, KTA, IEC), o Relevant EU Directives (e.g., LV, EMC, Machinery, ATEX), o Experience in site works, - Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment, - Capability to take initiative, with a proactive attitude and personal drive, - Ability to manage relationships: customer/supplier, between partners (in national or international JVs), - Good knowledge of English language (spoken and written, fluent) - No preclusion to trip’s time, duration and destination
