By performing various tests and analyses you aim to improve product quality, develop bespoke products for our customers or support a brand-new product development.ResponsibilitiesSupports the R&D Innovation team with Lab analysis and prototypingDevelop and test paper solutions (new raw material, new process, new surface treatments, etc) following our Stage-Gate processConduct a variety of tests to evaluate paper properties, such as tensile strength, thickness, brightness, opacity, and moisture content, using specialized equipment (tensile testers, IR and UV-Vis spectrophotometer, moisture analyzers, etc.) to perform tests accuratelyAnalyze, report out and record test results, identifying any deviations from quality standardsDatabase analysis and samples archive managementUpdate the CRM system according to product development processEnsure that laboratory equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and serviced to ensure accurate and reliable test resultsIdentify and report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs or replacements as neededComply with internal safety rules and procedures including raw materials use and storageWho Are We Looking ForHigh school diploma/bachelor's degree in Chemistry and/or Paper engineering or strong working experience in similar fieldsAbility to use laboratory equipment and software for data analysis and a strong willingness to learnPrevious working experience in the Paper Industry (Production, Quality, Laboratory, Research) or paper converting is a plusStrong analytical skills, rigorous and detail-orientedHighly motivated with the ability to work independentlyTeamworking approach championing service & goal orientationFluent in English – as a plusWhy You Can't Miss This OpportunityYou'll have the chance to be part of a great transformation journey leading some of the key streams to make our company successful and become an industry leader: Innovation management, New product & process development, and Customer satisfaction.Based in: Verona Innovation CenterWhat You Can Expect From Our Selection ProcessInterview with HRBP Global Ops, R&D, SC; R&D Director, Italy R&D ManagerReady to start your new exciting journey with us?
