The successful candidate will support a renowned senior Partner and work on complex cross-border matters involving Italian tax, trusts, and estate planning. /ppbr / /ppstrongPurpose of Position /strong /ppbr / /ppTo provide tailored advice to an international client base of high-net-worth individuals on a broad range of Italian tax and succession planning matters. The role involves technical structuring work and will require close collaboration with colleagues across jurisdictions. /ppbr / /ppstrongKey Responsibilities /strong /ppbr / /pulliDeliver clear and commercially sound guidance to international clients regarding Italian tax structuring /liliApply in-depth knowledge of Italian tax law to cross-border estate and wealth planning /liliManage a varied caseload effectively, in line with level of experience and with appropriate support /liliDraft high-quality documentation with minimal supervision /liliSupport and mentor junior team members as needed /liliBuild and maintain trusted client relationships, including with intermediaries and private individuals /liliContribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and thought leadership within the group /liliParticipate in business development activities such as client presentations, events, seminars and proposals /liliEnsure adherence to all applicable regulatory and compliance standards /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongPersonal Specification:br / /strong /pulliProfessionally qualified in Italy as an emavvocato /em or emdottore commercialista /em, with at least 4 years of experience in Italian tax law /liliFluent in both written and spoken English /liliExperience in advising private clients on Italian tax matters is advantageous, but not essential /liliSTEP qualification is preferred but not mandatory /liliExcellent legal and commercial judgement, with an understanding of the unique needs of HNWIs /liliStrong drafting, research, and analytical abilities /liliHighly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and within a team /liliPersonable, client-focused, and proactive in building long-term relationships /liliProficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word and Excel /li /ul
