In this role, you will help evaluate distribution and transportation operations, data and facilities to identify the most effective distribution and transportation patterns for products.Key Accountabilities
Evaluate, select and foster continuous relationships with external transport providers.Knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry to make recommendations to establish good customer relations.Analyze and project transportation costs and coordinate customs clearances and permits.Provide distribution, transportation and logistical solutions on inbound or outbound movement of raw material and finished product from origin to destination.Perform data entry updates in spreadsheets and databases based on sales orders and contracts and provide data to more senior team members for further analysis.Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assigned
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the English languageAt least one year of experience in a similar roleKnowledge of SAP
