As our Feature Engineer you will be a key player in the cooperation between IT and Business stakeholders. You drive to make complex changes happen within and across Tribes. Your holistic view as well as your knowledge of both Business and IT are crucial in translating business requirements into business value. You align between squads – from the same or different Tribe(s) – and other parts of the organization and manage dependencies.
Key responsibilities:
1. Interpretation of business rules and functional and non-functional requirements to define technical specifications according to an architectural specification provided in terms of interaction between systems, data exchange, transformations etc... according to a defined design methodology
2. Participates and cooperates in shaping activities, participates in feasibility analyses for new or upgraded initiatives (Epic and User Story) assessing the impacts for IT as well as participating and supporting developers in the development phase
3. Performs detailed, functional and technical analysis/design
4. Test support and problem determination
5. Collaborates in defining new suppliers and contractual requirements
6. Breaks down requirements and technical solution into appropriate section (User Story) examining costs, benefits and risks of various options before selecting an approach; explanation/justification of decisions in a logical and systematic manner
I f you think you have the following qualifications:
7. Problem solving skills to find creative ways of driving progress and removing impediments
8. Analytic skills for creating end-to-end solutions
9. Experience with agile way of working
10. A team player mindset, with a 'make it happen' mentality, eager to learn and the ability to coach others
11. Good communication skills in English (C1 level), strong communication and presentation skills (telling – selling) across different skill and seniority levels
12. 4+ years of experience in software development projects preferably in Agile methodlogy
13. Graduated from relevant departments (Engineering, Software development from reputable universities
14. Excellent knowledge of the existing IT architecture (for the relevant domain) and technical flows
·Main areas of knowledge:
15. Code versioning tools (. Azure and Git) and good knowledge of the problem
16. DBMS and SQL (., Oracle, PL/ SQL);
17. Technology landscape (application level) of the relevant domain
18. Agile paradigm;
19. Scrum;
20. UML standards;
21. Microservices architecture and domain design model;
22. Retail banking business;
23. Advanced experience in the development of REST & SOAP application services
24. Experience in designing front-end solutions using TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular and Jquery
25. Junit testing, test driven development and Spring integration testing
26. Proven experience in application development with JAVA on/with J2EE platform, Spring, Spring Boot
27. Experience in the same role in a complex environment with 24/7 service availability
