This role will play a critical part in consolidating our supplier base and optimizing renewals and commitments across software, services, cloud, and other IT categories, whilst ensuring alignment with ION Group procurement standards. /p pLearn more at iongroup.com. /p h3Your role /h3 h3Your key duties and responsibilities /h3 ul liProactively manage supply contract procurement, working closely with Purchasing Areas and the Legal Department; /li liIdentify opportunities to achieve business savings using negotiation and procurement best practices, tools, and methods; /li liIndependently manage tenders and bid evaluations; /li liMonitor market trends and suppliers, and conduct price benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities; /li liPerform analysis on new and existing costs, and review cost reduction and cost avoidance activities; /li liEnsure compliance with ION Group procurement objectives, policies, and procedures during supplier negotiations and contract award processes. /li /ul h3Your skills, experience, and qualifications required /h3 ul liMaster’s degree (Economics, Law, or Engineering); /li liSolid knowledge of modern procurement methods, procedures, best practices, and supporting tools; /li liMinimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the IT industry; /li liStrong analytical capabilities and data-driven, solution-oriented mindset; /li liExcellent negotiation, communication, and teamwork skills; /li liFlexibility, proactivity, and willingness to continuously learn and improve; /li liHigh level of commitment and ownership; /li liExcellent knowledge of the English language; /li liExcellent knowledge of MS Office tools (in particular Excel) and ERP/procurement systems (SAP, Jaggaer, etc.). /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 pPermanent employment contract. /p h3Location /h3 pMilan. /p h3Important notes /h3 pAccording to the Italian Law (L.68/99) please note that candidates from the disability list will be given priority. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
