OverviewFor our Logistics Strategic Planning & Integration Department, we are looking for a Customs Coordinator to join the Transport team based in Castel San Giovanni (PC).Depending on the candidate's place of residence, the position may be based in either Trebaseleghe (PD) or Milan.Your ImpactThe Customs Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the proper operational and documentary management of import and export customs flows, guaranteeing compliance with applicable customs and trade regulations, efficient processes, correct use of customs procedures, and minimizing the risk of penalties and operational inefficiencies.The resource will be responsible for:
Monitor regulatory changes in customs, origin, and tariff matters, and assess their impact on company products and processesLiaise with Customs Authorities, freight forwarders, brokers, consultants, and other third parties for operational management and resolution of any issuesPerform formal and substantive checks on customs operations, ensuring traceability, data accuracy, and compliance with company proceduresCollaborate with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance functions to ensure compliance throughout the entire logistics flowSupervise internal operating procedures (e.g., imports, exports, special regimes, duty-free reintroductions, etc.), ensuring their correct applicationMonitor shipments and proactively intervene in case of customs holds or delaysProvide internal training and support on customs-related matters to the relevant functionsContribute to the optimization of customs flows, reducing costs and clearance timesSupport internal and external audits and ensure proper filing of customs documentationManage and keep updated information systems/ERP related to customs operations
QualificationsWho We Are Looking For:
7/10 years of relevant experience in a similar roleFluency in EnglishStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
